1. Countable and uncountable nouns

Nouns can be:
- countable → we can count them
- uncountable → we cannot count them individually

Countable nouns can be singular or plural.

We use a / an before singular countable nouns.

🚫 Uncountable Nouns

Uncountable nouns do not usually have a plural form.

With uncountable nouns, we usually use:

We use How much and How many to ask about quantity.

4. Definite and Indefinite Articles

In English we use:
- a / an → indefinite articles
- the → definite article

We use a / an when we talk about:
- one thing/person
- something not specific
- something mentioned for the first time
